The specimen is placed upside down  into the fixture at the rotating drive and then connected electrical to the test bench. By a pre-selection at the switchbox beneath the GMV2, cw and ccw rotation can be selected. The parameter sets selected by decode switches will be changed automatically. By a adjusting knob the current for the electrical brake and the rotational speed can be set. All values, torque, speed and current, are displayed in the GMV2. By a signal tower mounted on the GMV2 a OK/NOK statement is done for every specimen.

The complete test unit is mobile and mounted on a height adjustable lifting unit. The GMV2 and the switchbox are also fixed height adjustable in the profiles.
