The specimen is placed in a fixture mounted on a pneumatic carriage. By pressing a pushbutton, the specimen will be moved into the rotating belt drive. Now the specimen is tested in different regulating notches, the shifting between the different parameter sets is realized with a rotary switch. With the decode switches, one of 49 parameters sets can assigned to each of the 3 contacts of the rotary switch. In every indexed position a OK/NOK statement is done by a signal tower mounted on the GMV2. After the test the carriage moves back and the next specimen can placed.

A speed regulator and ON/OFF switch for the drive are also integrated in the switchbox beneath the GMV2.

The complete test unit is mobile and mounted on a height adjustable lifting unit. The GMV2 and the switchbox are also fixed height adjustable in the profiles.
